Here is a video of the rooms in my little cottage home. I am certainly not a professional when it comes to video's. Sorry I had to copy this to you tube to get it to on blogger and since I shot it vertical it has the margins. Next time I will try and remember to shoot it horizontal.
No sunshine and no editing on this. Just keeping it real.
Some of you have asked me about the layout and how the rooms flow in this little house.
This might give more of a feel for the flow. Have a great new week.
Nice to see. Have a nice day.

Hi Kris! Great job with the video and thanks so much for sharing. Lovely home!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your home tour!
ReplyDeleteIt is very nice and I love your dog!
Take care
Catherine

Kris, I loved the tour. I think you did a fine job with your video. Buddy is fun company for you. He will keep you informed of anything going on there. I love your cottage home. When you wished for spring and was wishing right along with you. I pray it hurries. Blessings, stay safe and warm, xoxo, Susie
ReplyDeleteThanks for the video tour of your sweet home! My Chihuahuas heard Buddy bark and they took off to find him. We are at the midpoint of the month so spring surely can't be too far off...we hope. My oldest daughter lives in McKinney Texas and they have been posting pictures of the snow. I think they have more than we do here in Indianapolis. Well, it's off to do laundry and general Monday chores. Stay warm! xoxo
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed seeing the layout of your cottage. I also really like the sign at the beginning of your post.
ReplyDeleteWe haven't seen the sun in a week. Plus we are getting an ice storm, ugh.
Hugs,
Cindy
Kris, what a sweet cottage layout you have. It's a perfect nest. You did a great job with video! I love how Buddy had to show his character too. When the weather's good and your flowers are blooming, take us outside, ok?! You guys have worked magic on this place. Have a good start of the week. Ours is ice, ice, baby.
ReplyDeleteOMG Buddy is SO ADORABLE!! Your little home is so beautiful, I love all your little touches and the ceiling in your bathroom is so cool! Great job putting together such a soothing and lovely home in such a tiny space. Now that I see how well your sectional fits in your living room, I'm convinced I can find one that works for my living room. Thank you for the tour. (and I hope you guys are all happy and healthy in spite of this cold and COVID). xoxox
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tour. I love that there are soft accommodations for Buddy in every room. After I've lived small for almost 10 years, I could never live in a large space again.

Kris, your cottage is darling. You and Terry have really transformed it something so beautiful. I know your neighbors must love everything you two have done. I love all of the custom touches. Thank you for sharing your lovely home. Stay cozy and warm. All of that snow makes for a pretty winter picture. Have a lovely week ahead. Xoxo
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable little cottage. I love it and you have it decorated so cute. Thanks for sharing. :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for an awesome video I loved it. It’s a great way to get perspective of size and you have a knack for making it perfect. I love it!!
ReplyDeleteGreat job on the video, Kris. Your cottage is so charming. Just precious. What brand/color paint did you use on the kitchen walls? I love it. Have a great week, and thanks for sharing your lovely home. Hugs, Nancy
ReplyDeleteThank you for taking us on a tour of your charming cottage!!!! I love how light and airy it is.....absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!

You live small beautifully, Kris. I was lucky enough to see your last home in person and this one is just as lovely. I love that you were able to pare down to what you feel is essential and let stuff go that you don't need. That is hard for most of us to do. Great job-although I wish you had showed up Terry sleeping in the bed...but...there's always next time. Good job on your first video!!!! xo Diana
ReplyDeleteLove it all Kris!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a really sweet tiny home. Perfect for two---sorry three, forgot Buddy. Hugs, and we have MORE snow up here...it is getting wearing for sure! Hugs, Sandi
ReplyDeleteLove your cozy cottage! You have such great taste. Buddy is so cute. Whata watchdog.
ReplyDeleteThe dreadmill - made me laugh! Kris, you and Terry have made your small cottage such a beautiful, bright, and welcoming home. It really is lovely! The sign in your hallway couldn't be more perfect and I couldn't agree more with the sentiment. I see Mr. Buddy is keeping you very safe - such a cutie.
ReplyDeleteHi Kris,
ReplyDeleteLoved the tour of your cottage....it is so lovely....yall have done such a great job of making it yours. Wow, still snow on the ground, and looks like more coming your way possibly. Hope you guys are staying nice and warm. Hope you had a great Valentines day with your honey. We are back to warm weather here for a few days.
Hoping to get our porch cleaned tomorrow. We have had warm weather but also rain, so
nothing got done with the porch, so hoping for tomorrow as it is gonna rain later in the week and get cold again. Crazy!!
Well have a great week my friend,
blessings, Nellie
Your home is lovely! Thanks for sharing. I see you have multiple dog beds for your dog as I do for mine!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Kris, for your video tour. It was great to see and also to hear your voice too. I now know how you sound. Hugs, Gilly
ReplyDeleteI loved this video tour! Your cottage is so pretty and perfect for you and your husband and of course, Buddy. (He's adorable!)
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the video, and Buddy is a rockstar! I love how he has a spot in all the rooms. He is adorable! BTW, I also enjoyed the tour of your AH-dorable cottage, LOL!
ReplyDeleteDear Kris! I finally have internet as of late this afternoon. It sure is nice to come and see what you're up to! Thank you for the tour of your amazing cottage that you so lovingly put together. Every inch of your home is perfectly manicure. I need to get my husband to help me work on our old living room!
ReplyDeleteGreat video! I really enjoyed hearing you, seeing Buddy and admiring your lovely home! Gorgeous and inviting! Thank you so much for sharing! Hugs! PS Go get em, Buddy!😁
ReplyDeleteWhere is the She- shed? I didn’t see it in the backyard shots.
ReplyDeleteThe she shed was adopted by another person. Long story with that but it is with someone that is so deserving. It was a hard decision but one that is very private to me. Please know it has a good home. I miss it but where it is now is a beautiful place.
DeleteKris,
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job filming! I feel like you've got a great future ahead of you!! I loved the beautiful touches and can feel the warmth of your lovely home. THANK YOU for sharing! Kathleen
So nice to see a tour, Kris! Your home is truly lovely, seems just perfect for you two (or should I say three? lol)I had to laugh about the dog beds. Our wheaten terrier Riley has a total of 4 -- count 'em --- 4 beds throughout our house. Yet she sleeps in our bed at night! As I write we're getting another 10 inches -- I'm totally ready for spring as well:)Stay safe and warm. xo Kathleen
ReplyDeleteYou did a fine job. :-) I had fun on the tour. My favorite was seeing Buddy. LOL
ReplyDeleteI love your home, the floors get me every time, they are beautiful.
Oh that was fun! I didn’t know the kitchen came out to the the living room so that area was more defined to me. Everything is cute and efficient. Looks like your snow is about like ours. Can’t wait until spring!
ReplyDeleteYour video tour was great Kris! Loved seeing how it all flows. Your cottage is just so cozy and beautiful and serene. Those shaggy fleecy beds for Buddy look great, and they are definitely an added touch to the decor! I need some of those for our 3 house cats. Every room as some sort of "bed" for them, weather a towel, a blanket or just a pile of soft shirts (they love laying on things that we've worn!). I think kitty beds would work better and look better! Glad Terry has a spot to sit and be comfy too! Marilyn
ReplyDeleteThanks for the video tour. Your home is absolutely gorgeous. There was something in each room that I just absolutely loved. That German pantry at the end of the kitchen is beautiful. Your husband is so talented. You missed your calling, you should've been a professional decorator. I'm waving bye to Buddy.
ReplyDeleteYou and Terry did a great job with redoing the whole house! I love your cute design assistant. Buddy is just adorable and a great watch dog! I love how you both made the house work and look so homey. I hope you all will enjoy this house for many years to come.
ReplyDeleteJust saw the home tour and am curious as to where you do laundry.
ReplyDeleteOff the kitchen is a utility room with stackable washer and dryer and storage unit. I guess I forgot to video that. Thanks for your visit.
DeleteSuch a great idea, Kris. Your little cottage always looks so pretty in photos but the video just makes it a little more clear. Love how it all looks..Stay well..xxoJudy
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh!! I love this video. You're a natural, the tour was perfect and I your narration was great. It was awesome to hear your voice and Buddy's, too!! I loved being able to see how the cottage puzzle fits together. I'm also totally taken with all your signs. They're gorgeous. I hope you share more videos, this was fun!! xxoo
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tour. I love your adorable little cottage. If I had my own little house that is exactly the size I would want. xo Laura
