I showed you how we wallpapered the doors on the armoire and we also used the same kind of paintable wallpaper for the cornice. Terry made these awhile back. |
Terry used crown molding and straight wood pieces to make these cornices. Then we used the paintable wallpaper to give them texture. |
Simple pattern to give texture to the cornice. |
My design assistant Buddy approves. Happy Thursday. Have a great weekend. |
I love what you did with the sheers! I'm stealing your idea!
ReplyDeleteThose are fantastic, Kris. I love how you are always changing things up a bit to make them even more interesting. Happy Valentine's Day!
ReplyDeleteBuddy looks so cute on your bed! Textured wallpaper has a lot of uses. It looks great on the cornices that Terry made. I can see a bit of your snow through the window. Alexa woke us up at 7:00 am to tell us that a winter storm is headed our way. However, she is not always accurate so we are hoping this is one of those times! xoxo
ReplyDeleteLove the white on white texture, Kris. Not sure why, but I'm only getting your Thursday greeting on Sunday in my email! Oh well, have a Happy Valentine's. We are in for another ice storm, this time with more snow expected than last week's. February might soon become my least favorite month, more than January! This is ridiculous.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty. Your bedroom looks so restful.
ReplyDeleteThose are very, very pretty! Really dresses up the windows. Love the wallpaper texture. Hope you are staying warm.
ReplyDeleteI love then. They looks so pretty on your windows
ReplyDeleteThose really do look great Kris! Plus you have Buddy's approval! Hugs, Gilly
ReplyDeleteLovely and sweet. I adore cornices, and I miss mine in the kitchen, but hubby put up new window trim, and it's a shame to cover it up. Sweet puppy in your room, too. Hugs, stay safe and WARM! Sandi
ReplyDeleteI love it! Very peaceful atmosphere.
ReplyDeleteI wish you a nice week
I love it! Terry could open a side business with this stuff he creates (and you help design). I also like what you have hanging above your bed. When I saw your photos I thought, everything is white, including the snow outside the window. Snowing and very cold here too.

Also, if Buddy ain't happy, ain't nobody happy!
ReplyDeleteI need a "Terry" in my life. Looks great!
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful! I love the character it adds to the room...and the sweetness Buddy adds!! Happy Valentine's Day to you all!! xxoo
ReplyDeleteLove the texture it adds. Beautiful room and precious pup. Happy Valentines Day friend!
ReplyDeleteBuddy, you have such excellent taste! I love how you directed your mama in her most beautiful designs. Would you like to come to Alabama and help me? The Westies need to learn your mad skills! The cornice is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteHi Kris,
ReplyDeleteLove this idea and you always inspire. The flowers as a tie for the sheers is elegant.
Happy Valentines day to you and Buddy.
Hugs,
Cindy
A beautiful touch to your window. Terry is so handy with his tools and your design skills makes for an awesome team. The textured wallpaper is wonderful. I do love a look of a cornice. xoxo
ReplyDeleteIt looks just as lovely on your cornices as it does on the armoire. Very pretty!
ReplyDeleteLove it! Hugs!
