I have had some beautiful garden bikes in the past. It was fun to go down memory lane. With going into a condo or townhome I do not think I will have room again for another garden bike. I will however have beautiful memories of the bikes I have had in the past.
We have our home inspection tomorrow and then if all goes well we will be over that hurdle and on to the next phase of getting closer to closing. Wish us luck tomorrow that all will go well and we can begin to move onto finalizing the contract. Prayers and good wishes something will come onto the market for us so we will not be homeless lol! |
These bikes are all so beautiful! :D I am confident that the perfect home will come on the market for y'all....Keep the faith! You sold your home to quickly for God not to provide options for y'all! Maybe you could have a mini bike planter for your new home, for a coffee table or centerpiece or something....
ReplyDeleteI have loved each and every one of your garden bikes.....they always have the most amazing blooms and look so charming in your gardens. Good luck with the home inspection tomorrow. Fingers crossed it all goes well....

ReplyDeleteYou might not have bikes at the new place, Kris, but I expect you will have beautiful vintage pieces no matter where you go. You will be the envy of your condo neighbors. xo Diana
ReplyDeleteKris, I know God has just the right place for you guys! And I know your neighbors will miss your beautiful yard and meticulous caretaking of your cottage. Prayers for perfect timing and that things will go well in all the details, hugs and love, dear friend!
ReplyDeleteYou have had so much fun Kris, over the years, decorating. We have been truly inspired by your skills and talents and have been along this journey with you. I know you've come to this point in selling your home so successfully that I just KNOW that the next phase will be just as thrilling. I just know that your creative self will find new ways of making a dwelling a real home. You always do!
ReplyDeleteOooh, I love all your garden bikes! You are inspiring me to do something with mine this year...give it a fresh coat of paint and add a basket to the back. I know you will still manage to make your new place look spectacular! I'm confident with all the work y'all gave done on your home, it will pass with flying colors. I'm praying the perfect place shows up so you can move forward.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Cecilia

Good luck with inspection! Sounds like your RE market is like Denver's. Not enough homes to purchase after selling! Embrace the process! You might have fun in a short term option in a temporary space! laura in Colorado (Realtor)
ReplyDeleteI wish you success on your home inspection. I am sure all will gone well, since you and Terry have really renovated your lovely cottage. Wishing you luck finding the perfect place to live comfortably. Anywhere you go, you will make it a loving home with beautiful touches. Xoxo
ReplyDeleteThinking about you as you move. Here's to everything moving smoothly!!
ReplyDeleteWait! I obsivily have missed something! Y'all are moving? What have I missed? Love all of your bikes!
ReplyDeleteSorry. I see where I've missed several posts! Best of luck to you and Terry in this new journey. You are both such hard workers , I know you will find just the home you need.
ReplyDeleteI didn’t realize you had so many bikes over the years! You’ve planted them so nicely and they fit into each setting well. Somehow I believe your home will pass with flying colors, especially since you added that nice garage.
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine that you will have any problem in finding a new home for your amazing bike. I am thinking of you and praying that everything goes smoothly, my friend. xo Laura
ReplyDeleteI am sure the bike will find a home. I could not live in a condo as neighbors too close. Most do not have garden/backyard spaces and often have HOA rules.
ReplyDeleteYour bikes are beautiful. Are you using the FB market page to sell some of your items?
ReplyDeleteI am praying all will go well. Lots of love, Carla
Ah yes, I have loved all of your bikes dressed up with beautiful flowers in the garden. I think that you will find a buyer soon Kris. Keeping positive thoughts and prayers going that a suitable home will come up for you very soon. Hugs, Gilly

ReplyDeleteGood luck on that inspection...and I bet that bike will bring top dollar. So pretty and if you post the pictures of it in the garden, you'll have people fighting over it!! Gorgeous. xoxo
ReplyDeleteIf my husband wouldn't kill me I'd say I'll take your bike! I've always loved seeing your garden bikes over the years. I'm sure things will go smoothly -- your cottage is lovely. Good luck in the search! xo Kathleen
ReplyDeleteI loved all your vintage bikes and how you dressed them. If I lived closer, I'd buy the Schwinn from you. Hope the home inspection goes well. Sometimes if an inspector can't find anything really wrong with a house, he will nitpick on piddly things. I always felt my husband was honest and thorough in his inspections. Still praying for just the right home for you and Terry, Buddy too! xoxo
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute bike! Really fun looking back at all of your garden bikes. I hope that whatever new place you make home has room for some of your gorgeous flowers! Good luck with your search! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteHi Kim! I've always enjoyed your bikes over the years - so pretty and welcoming. We had our moving sale last weekend. The weather really cooperated and re-homed lots of our stuff. Our house goes on the market next month. Wishing you all the best in your new home search. Jane
