We are very close now. We will be packing up the moving Truck on Wednesday and then closing on this beautiful historic condo on Friday.
Then Saturday we will begin some of the transformation. Painting, shiplap, new flooring and hopefully a new kitchen before we move in the following Thursday with our furniture. Hopefully we will get the majority of the painting, floors and beginnings on the kitchen done in those days before that Thursday when the moving truck will get unloaded at the new condo.
In the meantime this is how we have been living!
Yep wall to wall moving boxes! This is where living tiny is hard. Everything that was on the walls is down and boxes are everywhere. We have small narrow walkways between rooms! |
You take your time: we'll be here when you are ready! And DON'T make yourselves crazy!!
ReplyDeleteSee you soon!
ReplyDeleteBest of luck on your move! Looking forward to seeing you create your new home.
ReplyDeleteI've never seen such a beautiful condo building, Kris! I'm looking forward to see the transformation you and Terry make on your new residence.
ReplyDeleteBest Wishes being sent your way. Limbo is never a lot of fun but I know you are making the most of it..and can't wait to see your new pad!! Saying goodbye to a part of your life, such as a home you love is always hard for me..but I hope yours works out great like life seems to alot for us all..the way its meant to be. ;0) .. I know you will be working hard and making it all beautiful. I hope your little furbaby will love it all, too. Careful and do not work too hard.
ReplyDeleteYou and I are pros at this moving thing, huh Kris? Can't wait to see your new place and all that you're doing there. Praying for you guys and for good weather during the move. Take you're time and don't overdo it! xo
ReplyDeleteI know how stressful this must be, but before you know it, you'll be all settled into your new place! Where will you be staying before you move in and where will all your furniture and boxes be?
ReplyDeleteAm so excited for you! I know your new home will be as beautiful as your other homes. You have a magic touch! You do need to send me your new address. By the way, You have filled a whole page in my address book! LOL! TAKE care and don't overdo. Love ya.
ReplyDeleteBoy do I remember stacks of Home Depot boxes. Buddy must be wondering what is going on.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see the new place!

Thinking of you! Best of luck Kris!
ReplyDeleteI can only imagine how busy you both must be. Moving is hard work. You can both be proud of all the work you put into the cottage you're leaving behind. The new owner must be beside herself with happiness at what she gets to move into. But I know this new condo is going to be absolutely stunning in very short order. Can't wait to see the pictures. Take your time though, we know you're busy.
ReplyDeleteI cannot WAIT to hear all about it and see what you have been doing to Kris-a-fy this new place!!!!! LOVE YOU my friend!
ReplyDeleteGood Luck! Can't wait to see the progress in your new place. :-)
ReplyDeleteSaying prayers for strength, endurance and happy moments while you work, Kris!
ReplyDeleteOh, this is so exciting!! I can't wait to see what you do in the new place, Kris! I have a feeling you're going to be in this new one for a while. Congratulations and here's wishing you an easy and exciting week that goes exactly according to plan!! xxox
ReplyDeleteWishing you the very best with the renos, the move, and saying your goodbyes. Remember to take care of YOU in the process. That's a hefty To Do List in just a week but I know the Dynamic DIY Duo can pull it off! Can't wait to watch the transformation process at the condo but at the same time, as a reader, I'm feeling sad about saying goodbye to your sweet JCC 4. Hugs from Canada xo
ReplyDeleteGood luck Kris! I do feel for you - the memory of our moving is still very fresh and there are still many boxes still to unpack now. I hope that you get the work that you hope to do, in time before your things arrive. Take care - distant hugs, Gilly x
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the move, I hope the weather cooperates. I know how difficult it is living cramped surrounded by boxes. The reward will soon be here.
