Sweet Spring Renewal

I am really close now to our closing in this sweet home and moving onto our new one.  I think with all the moves over the past 10 years I have become a pro at packing and moving.  Only about 10 more days!

We have had so much rain so it was hard to get an outside picture of my pretty daffodils popping up.  I planted them in the fall and hoped a few might make it through the winter and survive the squirrels and other critters that dig them up.  I was pleasantly surprised to see so many pop up.

I hope the new owner will enjoy having these pop up each Spring.  The pretty yellow against the green siding and yellow front door looks so pretty.

Very nice to see life coming back to Illinois.
Have a great rest of the week.

  3. First of all, I love yellow. From my screen, your house looks gray but that is GORGEOUS with the yellow! Kris, the love and care you put into this home is so clear. Every corner and detail has "Kris and Terry" written all over it. The new owner is lucky.

I truly can't wait to continue this journey with you on your new location. And talk about rain; we have had non-stop rain/drizzle and from what I can see of our roof this morning, a little snow. However, the daffs and the blue squill in patches all over the neighborhood are making it an Enchanted April.

  7. Daffodils are my favorite spring bulb. What's great about them is no animals bother them. I have loved them since I was a little girl.

Can't wait to see the new place.

    Hugs,

  18. A really beautiful show of daffodils Kris! I am sure that the new owner will enjoy them for many years to come. Over here in UK ours are almost over and it is the tulips that have now taken centres stage. It really won't be long now before your move. I hop that everything goes very smoothly for you both.
