I thought hmmm I have those two vintage frames with mirrors maybe they would look cool as shadow boxes on the wall instead of mirrors. |
Gotta love Terry and his tools. He bought some wood pieces and cut and attached them to these frames. |
Terry had two great assistants helping him out. I think the shadow boxes are so cool for the master bedroom. |
Sorry for the fuzzy pics but it was raining and dark when I took these pics of the frames on the wall. |
I am not a tchotchke girl. Finding things to put in these shadow boxes is my next challenge. Have a great Friday. Hugs, Kris Parties: Create, Bake, Grow and Gather |
Love this idea. I know you will find the perfect items to go in them. I'm in quarantine till next week. Tiffs husband has covid and I was exposed. Rapid test came back negative but have to retest next week. UGH!!!
ReplyDeleteLove them!! Do you have a garage at your condo? If not where is Terry creating his masterpieces now?
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! That man has skills and you have such a crafty brain. Although I think you may have a really hard time finding something as darling as those girls' faces to put inside!! xxoo Enjoy the weekend!!
ReplyDeleteGood morning dear Kris! Terry has struck again with his tools and you, with your imagination. Isn't it fun to repurpose items we have in our homes? I think what you've displayed here for the photo is a great idea, having maybe just ONE interesting little piece to display, maybe in a contrasting color that you love, instead of trying to fill up the frame space. Your whites look so beautiful my friend!
ReplyDeleteHi Kris! You have some very pretty helpers. What a cool idea to turn those frames into shadow boxes. I know you will find just the right items to display in them. Jane
ReplyDeleteI remember those mirrors - what a clever way to re-purpose them! Terry and his tools in action once again! Looking forward to seeing what delicious treasures you find for them. Hugs, Gilly
ReplyDeleteCute idea.
ReplyDeleteNice, Kris. Where did Terry do the cutting, at your daughter's home?
ReplyDeleteSuch a good idea for using frames! Terry had some very cute assistants. Have a good week! xoxo
ReplyDeleteI love this idea! The frames are so elegant. I have a red frame framing my clock in my bathroom.

ReplyDeleteI think Terry had the cutest assistants! :D I love your new shadowboxes. What a great idea! You have several cute shops you frequent, so I'm sure that you should find some fun treasures for them.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea, Kris! Like you, I'd have a hard time finding something to put inside of them, since I'm not a "tchotchke girl" either. Therefore, I'm interested to see what you come up with. Have a great week! xx
