Terry and I took a drive to the Found Cottage Mercantile Market on Friday. Thought I would share a few pics of some of the vendors. Lots of fall decor and vintage treasures. |
Yikes I had a hard time walking away from this sweet treasure. Wheels, old locks, chippy in all the right places. Those curved edges. Ohhhh! What a gorgeous piece. |
Love that door and what a great market!! I see a lot of nice things :)

ReplyDeleteOh, that looks like a wonderful place to visit! Thanks for sharing with us.
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,

What a fabulous place to shop! And that door!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI saw a couple of pieces I really need. I'm glad it is too far for me to swing by.

ReplyDeleteJACKPOT! I wouldn't have left without this door either.
ReplyDeleteSo sad NJ has nothing and I mean nothing like the shops you visit. It makes me bummed.
Can't wait to see your vision!
Hi Kris! Looks like you had a great time and found an awesome treasure to Kris-a-fy. Looking forward to seeing it. Jane

I see sooooo many treasures I really like! The sunflower pillow is so cute! I can’t wait to see what you are going to do with that beautiful door! Please make a video of the bell so we can hear it, lol.
ReplyDeleteWow! That door is a great find! Love those turn key doorbells! Can't wait to see how you use it! Have a great week! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteHello dear Kris! OH MY! Please, don't keep us waiting too long; show us! Throw me a bone over here, would ya???? So gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI love the door. I also saw so many things I liked.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see what you do with that fabulous door as I have one in my attic!
ReplyDeleteThis trip looked super fun, Kris. Love your door you found. I also love that sign that reads OLD SOUL. Markets like these are so fun to go to just to even browse, to see how the dealers style. There were some really neat vignettes. When we go to estate sales it's like a feeding frenzy of piranhas - just grabbing items before the next dealer does.
ReplyDeleteThe fabulous door was a good find! The long piece with the curves and wheels should be in your home. I bet it weighs a ton. Have a good week! xoxo
ReplyDeleteOh my does that market look dangerous $$$. I can't wait to see what you do with that gorgeous door.
ReplyDeleteThe store looks amazing! I love that sunflower pillow. Can't wait to see what you do with that door, but I know it's going to be special!
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty things for fall. The ideas alone are priceless!

Lovely pieces…SHAME on those not wearing masks 😷
ReplyDeleteOh, Kris, we had that door on our kitchen in our 'monster' mansion in N.Wisconsin, complete with the little bell. The milkman used to turn it when milk was delivered...goodness that was in 1974....YIKEs. I say monster because every time we wanted to do something pretty a pipe broke, or the furnace blew, or wasps in the chimney, or lightening hit the water heater...pigeons eating the roof...pretty much why we ran away. LOL..very fun venue---hoping to get to Elkhorn this Sept...really need a good event! Sandi
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, what a great place to browse and shop. I loved that buffet on wheels, a lovely old piece. Your door is gorgeous also. Look forward to seeing what you do with it. Have a great week ~ FlowerLady
ReplyDeleteNow that is a place where I could spend hours. Love everything you showed, Kris. It's going to be fun to see where your gorgeous door ends up. Can't wait to see! Hugs, Nancy
ReplyDeleteHey Kris I was there, too! Honestly I wondered if you were going lol My husband and I made a lovely weekend out of it in Holland. I wanted to buy like, everything! I did pick up a few small things, though. Love that door, too cool. Jealous:) xo Kathleen

I can't wait for that and Terr-a-fied too, but I'm not afraid of what it will look like. Can't wait..Happy Weekend..xxoJudy

Hi,
ReplyDeleteWhat fun.. I just love all the treasures I see.
I am excited to see where the door will be used.
Carla
I can't wait to see what you do with it! I was going to go but was unable to. Hopefully next year.
ReplyDeleteFUN!! Fabulous door. So glad you shared pics.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun market to visit and I love all of the fall decor. How nice to score the door and I'm looking forward to see what you both do with it. I hope you have a nice week.
ReplyDeleteHi Kris,
ReplyDeleteHope you both had a great weekend. Ours was quiet but good. What a fun store, looks a lot like the one I talk about called "Adjectives". That is a cool door and I have a feeling I might know where it is going.....can't wait to find out with I am right. lol
I am just starting to take down my spring/summer decor. Have done the mantle so far,
but I started late in the day, which wasn't my plan, but life is what happens when we are making our plans, right!! lol We have stormy weather tonight cause of that TS coming ashore before too long, but we are quite a distance away, so just mainly thunder storms.........which we are most grateful for instead of a hurricane.
Well, can't wait to see where that door is going....lol
Have a great rest of the week hon, and thanks for coming by.....
Blessings, Nellie
Kris,
