Since Christmas is just around the corner I thought I would share some of these yummy Christmas Cookie recipes.
My sweet friend Jemma had on her FB page this link for the cutest and yummiest cookies ever for the holidays. I thought I would share it with you. Nice part is you can begin to bake these and freeze them. I always give my neighbors a tray of cookies. Seeing all these really unique and cute cookie recipes made me smile.
Scroll through the pics and if any of these strike your fancy you can go to the link below. Happy Baking. I know a lot of you begin your cookie backing early and freeze them. I think that is a brilliant idea and it will make the downhill slide into Christmas a little more enjoyable. With Thanksgiving and Christmas so close together it is good to be able to start some of the decorations and baking early. At least that is what I have found to make things fun and less stressful at the holidays.

I found these Mud Pie Cookie plates awhile back on clearance and purchased a few to put my home baked cookies on for neighbors and friends.

They were so cute with the napkins and cookie server.

ReplyDeleteOh, I don't know if I'll have the space to bake this year. Our bedroom renovation started yesterday and I think it's going to be at least two months until everything is buttoned up! Now, you're the one who shared the "potato chip cookie" recipe last year, right?
Now this was true torture as I am drinkig my hot black coffee, now. lol These look so cute and yummi.. The hot cocoa ones in the little cups are so adorable..not sure I could eat them. :0) .. And cheers to the Bailey ones, too..and I always love the vanila icings' ones.. Thanks for sharing...I hope I can find time to try one or two of these(or the energy) and not eat them all myself.. ;0) ... Those plates were a great find, too. "Tis the Season". I so enjoy your ideas that you come up with or make reference to in your Blog. Happy Holidays to all.

ReplyDeleteOh those are fun! Bailey's bonbons? Why yes, please. I just might have to give those a try. Holding onto to Fall just a bit longer although I'm starting to get excited about Christmas. Thanks for the inspiration.

They are all so festive and look delicious. I've made the candy cane ones before but I need to make those adorable hot cocoa ones. Heading over to get the recipe next. Thanks for sharing these with us, Kris! xo
ReplyDeleteHow cute are those snowmen??? I can't wait to bake more. I just love it!

Kris, those Christmas cookies are so adorable. Each one is so special. Hot cocoa ones, the snowman and candy cane, wow. Thanks for sharing these sweet cookies. xoxo
ReplyDeleteOh Kris, these are all adorable! I'm heading over to her blog to save a few recipes, though I seem to bake less and less each year. I might try the bon bon's.. for company, if I have any. I normally just make sugar cookies, frosted of course, and thumb prints with a little bit of mince meat in the center, or jam, and used to make gingerbread people when my boys were younger, but haven't for years. I do love a good gingerbread cookie though! Those plates are just adorable... I never get to any home stores as the closest ones are 50 miles away. Take care... Marilyn
ReplyDeleteThese cookies are adorable. I have made the candy canes before and they are fun to make.
ReplyDeleteThank you Kris for sharing
