I am enjoying my sweet and simple decor this year. I want to keep things soft and light. Let my sweet french chippy window be the star and the decor just simple dressing for the window.
How's your decorating going. Are you waiting until after Thanksgiving this week or have you begun too.
I love this time of year and want to enjoy my decor for as long as I can so I do start my Christmas decor early.
Love those twinkle lights at night. Have a great week leading up to Thanksgiving. Happy Thanksgiving to all. Hugs, Kris

You did a lovely job of dressing your unique window for Christmas, Kris! The little birds are so sweet and I've been thinking of your lamb's ear garland since I saw it on the previous post. Made me wonder if I couldn't do something with all the lamb's ear still pretty outside.
ReplyDeleteLovely, Kris! We started this weekend. Our real tree and garlands arrive on Tuesday, so I'll be busy this week.
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving Week. xo
Yes. Perfect.
ReplyDeleteHi Kris! Oh, your wreath and area around your window frame is so lovely! Thank you so much for supporting me with your sweet comments. Please have a very blessed Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteYou are a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Hi Kris, I just love that precious lamb's ear garland. I have lamb's ear at this house and it is so prolific, but the squirrels use it as a salad bar. The little birdies are adorable and add so much sweetness. Love that window, so beautiful. I've been decorating this week but still not finished. It's taking me a while to get things done this year. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving week and enjoy your family time! xoxo
ReplyDeleteSo pretty....love the lambs ear!!! We bought our tree today but are waiting for it to relax a little before we start decorating it.
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving!!!

It may be simple Kris, but it really is super cute and beautiful. Those little birds are amazing! I also love the idea of a wreath inside a wreath - just perfect! Gilly
ReplyDeleteGood morning my dear! Simple is the way to go. I enjoy natural elements with a bit of whimsy and little birds are a favorite of mine! I enjoy stars as well but this year, with the mess in the house due to the bedroom project, there won't be any decorating! I want so badly to put up something but it just isn't going to happen. Your white chippy window is PERFECTION and lends itself to so many designs. You nailed this one! HUGS!!!!
ReplyDeleteI agree...such sweet decor..love it. So pretty you can enjoy it all Winter probably ..if you like. :0) .. I have done a bit of decor already..but am hosting Thanksgiving this years so most of effort(s) have been preparing for that event(daughter spoiled me having at her home the past two years, lol).. I know your place looks so peaceful at night with the lighting and all. Have a blessed rest of weekend and next week, fun.
ReplyDeleteI love that garland turned into a wreath, Kris, and the sweet birds. I started yesterday, but first hid the remaining unpacked boxes into closets. I have my Birdie today so nothing else will get done. Hope you have a good start to the week.
ReplyDeleteI love the feather and green wreath! I will start decorating the day after Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty and peaceful, Kris, and the style is uniquely yours! Enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty and you can enjoy this all winter.
ReplyDeleteLove this window so much! You always find beautiful pieces
The lamb's ear garland is a good jumping off point for lots of projects. Remove the stocking and the wreath could stay up for a while. I like pieces than can transition to another season/holiday with a few tweaks. Hope everyone is well in your family circle! Happy Thanksgiving! xoxo
ReplyDeleteIts beautiful Kris and can't beat those prices! Your Christmas fireplace inspired me to simplify my Christmas tree this year and incorporate more white into the mix. I'm quite liking it so thank you for the inspiration. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours! xoxo
ReplyDeleteVery pretty Kris. Love the lamb's ear garland and those sweet little white birdies. Gotta love Walmart. The window is fabulous. I have started decorating. Lots to do. Have a fabulous thanksgiving and enjoy your twinkles. xoxo
ReplyDeleteI have a lambs ear garland. Those little white birds are so cute! I like simple and sweet too.

Kris, I love the way you decorated the french window for Christmas. The wreath looks amazing too. I hope you and your family have a happy Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteThose little birds are just darling and the feather wreath looks so soft. I can "feel" it from here. I'm with you, going simple this year. I'm in between holidays right now. Most of my pumpkins have been packed away, just a few remain to decorate the table on Thursday. However, my children decided that it was time for Christmas already, so they put the tree up yesterday. It's still naked, but I bet by the end of today it will be decorated! Enjoy your lovely holiday view.
ReplyDeleteI do love the soft look. The feather wreath is adorable! That window is definitely the star of the show. I bet it looks enchanting at night! I won't decorate much this year, a few things and maybe my tree (faux) as I do love the lights on the tree. I would love to have my tree maybe next year, with all white and wood toned ornaments (that I would make of course!)... Have a wonderfuly Thanksgiving Kris....xoxo Marilyn
ReplyDeleteTerrific job Kris! LOVE your creative buys from Walmart. They look so beautiful together. It's funny I just came from Walmart! Have a wonderful day!
ReplyDeleteThis is very soft looking as you said. Birds and feathers go together! It's all very light and pretty.
ReplyDeleteVERY PRETTY!!!!! I love all your pretty lamb's ears things in your pretty, soft, shabby chic home. It truly is stunning, Kris! :D
ReplyDeleteI have everything decorated for Thanksgiving, but next Monday I will start decorating for Christmas! You're inspiring me!|
the garland and wreath are super adorable.
ReplyDeleteI love this, Kris.
Happy Thanksgiving and blessings to all of you during this blessed season, Christmas
It is lovely.
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving my dear friend.
We will start to decorate on Friday. :-)
Definitely nailed the soft and sweet look. Love it, Kris. I will decorate on Friday. It's what I do instead of shopping on Black Friday. I'd actually do it sooner this year but I'm trying to finish up some art stuff before Thanksgiving so I'll wait. I'm so ready to enjoy this season.
ReplyDeleteLovely, Kris! Love the little birds.
ReplyDeleteI still have up all my fall and Thanksgiving decor - I won't decorate for Christmas until past Thanksgiving.
Speaking of which, I hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday!
It's so pretty, Kris. I love the sweet simplicity of what you have done. The sad things is that unless you see your place in person the pictures do not do it justice. My girls loved your homes in the past at Christmas time.
ReplyDeleteWish I could have seen your new place in person but it was a crazy year for all of us. I am going lighter on decorating this year, too because we will only be here for a short Christmas before heading to Mindy's house. xo Diana
Kris, it is such a pretty idea and it really compliments that beautiful and artistic window frame. I love the lambs ear garland and those little birdies are just adorable. Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving..xxoJudy
ReplyDeleteKris,
ReplyDeleteanother lovely and charming idea!! Very pretty!!
Hugs,
Debbie
Lovely Kris,
ReplyDeleteLove the feather look wreath around the green one and the lil birdies in the garland are so cute.......looks simple and sweet....
Merry Christmas Decorating Blessings!! lol
We might put up the tree today, if we get real ambitious. lol
Oooh, so charming and sweet. I love what you did with the wreath, and the garland and bird are a perfect accent for the window. Perfect. xx
ReplyDeleteIt’s so pretty Kris! Love the wreath with the lambs ear, soft and beautiful!
ReplyDeletePrecious. I started early too.
ReplyDeleteVery sweet, love lambs ears 😊
