Smart Roses

I wanted to share a sweet little rose that I got for Valentine's Day.  These roses are grown in Ecuador and then preserved.  If you leave them out to air and do not touch them they will last for months.

There are  many companies that sell these special roses.  As you can see by the one in the picture above this is gift boxed nicely.

The heart roses I got came in pink and red.  They are boxed and then you take them out and keep them on the base of the box.
  Their fragrance is heavenly.

I got mine at the Meijer's Grocery Store.  
We had a Galantine party here in my condo building and I got one for each of the ladies coming that night.  
They have told me they are still very fragrant and looking pretty.

I had never heard or seen these special roses until a friend showed me hers and told me she got it at the flower area in the grocery store.

I thought I would share this special find from Valentines Day.
I think they make great gifts not just for Valentine's Day but maybe Mother's Day, birthday's or anniversaries.

You can google preserved roses Ecuador and the beautiful flower farms will come up with how they grow these and where in the US you can purchase them.

I liked that I found them in the grocery store and they were not real expensive.

I think they are sweet because they are in the shape of a heart.  
They are very fragrant and vibrant in color.
I hope mine will last for months.
