Before and After Cottage Bedroom

This is how the room was with the black, white and gray floral wallpaper and my whites

 

My pop of color was Buddy when he was still with us.  Miss that little Man so much.

This is the wallpaper from Laura Ashley.  It is called Dragonfly.  Light chalk blue background and white wild flowers in white.

Because of lighting this is a light blue wallpaper.  Looks a little gray but it is a true light chalk blue with white flowers.

I decided to do the whole room half walls.  We have the wainscoting all around so it would be just the top half of all the walls.

I want to get new hardware for this vintage old dresser.  On the hunt for some cute knobs to offset the white.

Gotta love Home Goods.  I found the print from the wallpaper in two pillows for my bed.  SCORE!!!!

I liked adding the blue to my white desk to have it pop against the white curtains and alcove white walls.

So there you have it.  Added some light blue and printed wallpaper to my white room.

It is cottage style that I like and I really am embracing the color of blue with the white.
