Happy 4th of July Michigan New Shop

 

Terry and I decided to take a ride to Michigan and check out a new shop that opened yesterday in St. Joseph.  About 1 hour 20 minutes from my house in Illinois.
So happy we took the drive.

Diane that owns Vintage Goods in Three Oaks just opened the new shop called Mercantile with her friend.  
These shops are awesome.

There are all kinds of vintage pieces but I gravitated towards all the vintage garden pieces.  This flower cart was amazing.

Loved the garden room area.  Sweet plants and plant stands.  
Lots of vintage garden items.

See the white chippy cement piece to the very right.  
Well that came home with me.  
You will see it below.

I brought it home and put it in front of my dining room window which is a southern exposure so a nice plant on this was a good idea.  
Today we had a very overcast day but normally the sunshines in this room all day.

I saw this great salvage piece and had to have it.  
I will show you soon how all of this turns out.  
A little bit of a work in progress right now.  
Hope to have that to show you soon.

Of course it started a whole thing bringing in a new piece.  The vintage hall tree I was struggling to decorate has been moved and this new piece is in its place.  I also got my vintage window mirror out of storage and I am going to pull these pieces together with some awesome decor.

It never fails as soon as you find a new piece it starts a whole switch
 a roo!
