Terry and I decided to take a ride to Michigan and check out a new shop that opened yesterday in St. Joseph. About 1 hour 20 minutes from my house in Illinois. So happy we took the drive. |
Diane that owns Vintage Goods in Three Oaks just opened the new shop called Mercantile with her friend. These shops are awesome. |
There are all kinds of vintage pieces but I gravitated towards all the vintage garden pieces. This flower cart was amazing. |
Loved the garden room area. Sweet plants and plant stands. Lots of vintage garden items. |
See the white chippy cement piece to the very right. Well that came home with me. You will see it below. |
Kris!!!! Garden pieces, especially the white chippy ones, are such a great indoor addition to our homes. Your new stand is perfect for that sunny spot! Happy fourth dear friend; it's been a great week with lots of good gardening happening and guests at the house. It's wonderful!
ReplyDeleteKris, that shop looks amazing. I think I would have purchased the flower cart for my garden. I love your new purchases. Have a wonderful 4th of July!
ReplyDeleteOMG what an amazing shop!!!! I wish I lived close so I could visit it too! Love the new treasures you found too. Happy 4th of July....

LOL- OMG- You are so like me---bring in something new and the whole world/house changes around you. I bet that little cement piece weighs a ton! LOVE the new piece that you brought in and can't wait to see where you have everything now that you are rearranging.
ReplyDeleteps-Thanks for leaving the comment on my blog this morning. I had to reset so my comments came thru...duh.....

ReplyDeleteSo beautiful.
ReplyDeleteKris, I'm glad that you and Terry went for a drive to a new place to shop. I love that new stand and it looks great with the green plant in the window. I love the other piece you bought and I can't wait to see how you decorate it. Have a happy 4th Kris.
ReplyDeleteWell, now I have a new shop to check out next time I'm in St Joseph! Did you get pizza at Silver Beach Pizza? It's our absolute favorite pizza place. We crave their pizza all the time. (And that's saying something with the fabulous pizza we have here in Chicago, lol!) I like the new piece by your window with the plant on it. Did you move the hall tree somewhere else or is it in storage?
ReplyDeleteLove your finds, Kris!! You make me laugh, same thing over here...I add one new thing and boom, major changes everywhere. Haha!! I love that you have so many cool shops nearby. They're all so interesting. There are a few cool ones I've heard about that I want to visit upstate, but fighting my way out of NYC is annoying. Maybe this summer. You've inspired me!! Happy 4th my friend. xo
ReplyDeleteOh my... I love vintage garden decor. I have some here in my home and in the garden. Thank you for sharing!!!
ReplyDeleteYou always find the best. Love the new piece as a plant stand. I can't wait to see the rest.

It looks like that shop is curated just for you! Glad you found a treasure to take home!
