Final Cottage Buffet/Dresser/TV Cabinet Finished

Here is the inspiration piece I found on FB Market Place.  The cost was $495 and it was in black.  As many of you know whites and neutrals are my gig for decor.

Found the same exact dresser/buffet on FB Market Place for $99.  Score!

Took the hardware off and painted it with black spray paint and painted the dresser white with cabinet paint.  We had both the spray paint and white cabinet paint.  So far this piece was only costing $99.

Gotta love Ebay.  Found the same exact stencil she used in gold on her piece in black.

It is a rub on stencil.  This was very easy to do.  By using blue painters tape you tape the stencil in place on your piece.  The stencil has lines for cutting if you do not want to use the whole stencil in one piece or want to line it up easier on the piece.

The blue painters tape was easy to manipulate and removing it was clean and easy.

The stencil direction suggests you use a clear wax or water base sealer to keep the stencil from chipping or fading.
I am going to get a water based sealer.
I know I can find that at Home Depot or Lowe's.

There you have it saved my self some money and now have a great piece to put in the new place.
It will hold Terry's new 55 inch TV with no problem.

Have a great weekend.
Two more weeks to go.
I am packed and ready to go.  I feel more relaxed having everything packed.  We have some open boxes for the things we need to get at while still living here for the next two weeks.
We will close those up the day the movers get here and we will be ready to move on to the next part of life's journey.

Hugs,
Kris
