New Fall Decor Dining Space and Sneak Peek Found Cottage Treasure

I found my tub of fall out in the garage amongst the still in progress boxes to unpack.
Made up this center piece with faux pumpkins, faux flowers and cute thankful and blessed fall sign.
Love the light tans along with traditional fall colors in my neutral room.

I found these cute pillow covers at Hobby Lobby along with towels and a runner to match.  Love that a lot of places are bringing in neutral colors for fall.

The pictures I showed you in my last post were from Hobby Lobby and I love the neutral colors and how well they went in my dining space.
I just felt it was missing something.  So.........

I decided to put up a framed mirror I had in storage and move the pictures out from the mirror.  I also felt the mantel piece was too small for my mantel so I went to work and embellished it.

I feel like it fills in the wall with a little more interest.  The mirror reflects the chandelier when I do not have the fall wreath hanging on it.

The mantel piece gifted to me was beautiful but I did add some embellishments I had to make it a little bigger on the mantel.

When I went to the Found Cottage Mercantile Market over Labor Day this beautiful basket was a treasure found.  I loved the size of it.
Everyone's hydrangeas this year were so big and beautiful.  It was a good season for hydrangeas so I cut some in Michigan and a few other wild flowers growing and dried them to put in this basket.

I feel like my dining room is coming together.  As you can see there is no longer ladders and tools all over the table and floor in the dining room.  Feeling accomplished rooms are beginning to feel like home.

Since I have a front porch again I brought out my cute scarecrow and black boots with fall flowers.

The front porch is coming together for fall.  I hope to get some pumpkins and gourds later in the season.  We are still in summer mode here so it is too early for pumpkin and mum shopping.
I forgot to take a picture but the wreath on the front door had two companion wreaths for the lights on each side of the garage.

Here is my fave treasure found at the FC Mercantile Market.  It is a 6ft piece of Joy.

It did not have any hanger hooks so I ordered these on Amazon.

Here are some sneak peeks at some decor to dress up the new entry coat hanger made out of that beautiful mantel.

I have been playing with my decor pieces and changing things around to get the look I want for this front piece.
I need to get my decor in the front entry together soon.
When I do I will share that with all of you.
Have a great new week.
Hugs,
Kris

  2. LOVE! I'm so happy you and my girlfriend both are settled in your townhomes! It gives me joy to see you both playing house with decor. You two are within a couple weeks of each other with your moves, so it's like watching HGTV, seeing you decorate. I love the new mantel you've added hooks to, and the DR looks festive, yet calm. Happy new week, Kris.
