1980 Kitchen Re Love

This is the before picture of the kitchen when we moved in a few months ago.  Some of the upper cabinets were coming down and repurposed in the laundry room.  New counter tops and backsplashes were ordered.  New door fronts and drawer fronts and hardware ordered.  Lots of painting!!!!  When all these things were done we now have a new updated kitchen.

Before kitchen.  Some of the upper cabinets came down to open up the wall.  We put the four cabinets we took down into the laundry room for more storage in that room.

Taking down those cabinets opened up that wall for the new shelf made out of the old mantel.

This is the new counter tops.  As I stated in the bathroom post the counters are mainly white with swirls of cream and white design.

I made a beverage bar area.

Before

After.  It is now brighter and 2024!

Have a wonderful Friday and great weekend.
Terry and I are heading out tomorrow for a Michigan weekend to celebrate our anniversary that was in September.  We were moving in during that time.  Ahhhhh it is looking to be a beautiful fall weekend.  The drive along the lake towns is so pretty with all the trees starting to turn colors.

Hugs,
Kris
