1998 bathroom re love

Here is the bathroom when we moved in 6 weeks ago.
That 1990 light fixture was going to leave and those brown doors outta here.  New counter tops and new drawer and doors and hardware and a new faucet was on the to do list.

New counters and backsplash done.  New faucet installed and new cabinet door fronts and drawer fronts put on after painting the old brown vanity white.  New mirror framed with vintage frame.

New faucet ordered off Amazon.

Back splash and counters finally installed.   We chose Corian solid surface material for the countertops and backsplash.  They are white with a swirl of cream.  In the pictures they look more gray and white but they are cream and white.

Towel hanger made from cut post and vintage hooks attached.  I had these in the condo and brought them with.

Perfect to hang the towel on.

We took out the medicine cabinet and covered the hole with some framed out wood and chippy old frame then added a hand towel hook.

So the bathroom went from this to....

The new bathroom.  I had a vision for this bathroom to bring it from  1998 when it was put in to this.

Hope all of you had a wonderful weekend.

Hugs,
Kris

  9. Wow, what a transformation, Kris! We had those glam lights in our master bath before renovating in 2017. I can't see what lights you added, though! Love the faucet and those towel hooks you had in the condo and brought with you. The entire space looks rightly updated to your wonderful cottage style.
