Ok this was the dining room at Christmas. Faux fireplace and old vintage window with wreath. After we painted it started a whole switch a roo |

The faux fireplace is now in the reading nook. |

The old window and wreath were moved to another wall in the dining room and Terry made me an old hat rack out of chippy wood and old door knobs to put under it. |

Now the old vintage window and wreath are hanging on this wall in the dining room. |

That left an open space after we painted the walls in the dining room where the old wreath window and faux fireplace were. Are you following the switch a roo. lol! |

I found these old windows in a shop in Michigan and thought hmmmm what can I do with those. Well I had Terry hang them for me and then I put vintage flowers and wreaths on them. |

I like the windows in the dining room where the old fireplace was. They give a statement to the wall and stay allow my French Farmhouse Cottage flair to continue. |
I love the subtle contrast of the new paint. And your windows along the wall give a fresh springy look and feel!

ReplyDeleteI follow as you lead! I love this switch. It gives the reading corner the cozy factor and thread dining room a clean, open look, showcasing both the windows and wainscoated wall. That wall space between the DR and sliding doors looks great too. Another fun trip to MI!
