New Vintage Shop and Treasures Found

On Saturday Terry and I took a ride into Michigan.  I wanted to visit a few of my shops.  While going to the regular shops I learned about an old school house near by that is now a cute vintage shop.

This shop is located in Battle Creek Michigan.  If you live in this area you should visit this sweet and unique shop.  The sign gives you a little history about this shop.

These next few pictures are from some of the treasures in Jane's vintage shop.

This is a row of old vintage bedsprings that I bought.  I had a vision for these on my dining room table.  So......

I purchased some vintage looking daisies.  Cut off the length of the stems and intertwined them between the bed springs.

I found some candles at Walmart and added those to the top of the springs.

At night if I have them lit they look so pretty and cozy.

Sorry the picture quality is not the greatest.  My I phone takes really nice pics and then when I transfer them to my computer they look ok and when I edit them in BeFunky they still look pretty good.  It is when I transfer them to blogger to post they get so faded out and are not clear and crisp.  If anyone knows why this happens and wants to share it with me I would appreciate it.

My new treasure of old bed springs made into a candle centerpiece was a fun find.

I have a few other treasures I found and will share them soon.

Have a beautiful new week ahead.
Hugs
Kris

  5. What a cool little shop. I just found out there’s an old church turned vintage shop near me. I need to go check it out! I love it when old buildings get repurposed. Love what you did with the old springs. Such a cute and clever idea.
Not sure about your photos. Do you know what the resolution is when you save them? If it’s under 200, that would make them blur. Good luck. I still think they look good on your blog.
